Sensen are world leaders in using real-time data from cameras and sensors to extract deep insights that are impossible to obtain from traditional data sources. Sensen provides security, monitoring and surveillance solutions across law enforcement, transport, gaming, retail, and transportation. Their solutions are currently expanding into other sectors including logistics, manufacturing, defence, mining, education, sports, and more.
BEVIN Creative were requested to assist Sensen in a new initiative within the Education Section: Kiss and Ride – Kerbside Management and School Zone Safety. The objective was to assist in the safety and streamline pickup processes at the school kiss and ride zone, reduce congestion and improve coordination of children and vehicles for a safer and more convenient journey. Sensen would use their AI automatic number plate recognition, to identify vehicles, matches each vehicle to a student and display a queue sequence to staff members to facilitate a better, safer and more streamlined Kiss and Ride process.
The BEVIN team was to firstly provide a digital medium for parents to ‘opt in’ to the program through a trusted online form system, which would also allow for easy capture and further review of all opt in’ applicants. Secondly, we were asked to design and code the online form (including defining the respective information required in the form) and then thirdly, to design a leaflet for parents to find out more about the program and also gain access to the online form to sign up.
The key was to provide a streamlined, easy to access process and format for busy parents to sign up to on the go, which could be successfully printed using the school’s resources. The project deadline for the project was of highest importance and was to be completed within 2 working days.
Ensuring the deliverables would work well together as well as be achieved on time, we chose to split up the project using multiple staff to complete different aspects at the same time. We made sure to keeping the creative and messaging consistent across all deliverable so that the end user would have a consistent experience of the initiative and brand.
We designed the flyer with only the most important information about the initiative. The flyer was created in pdf format, in order for it to be printed directly at the school as a handout for parents. The flyer featured a unique QR Code that when scanned links directly to a coded google form, allowing parents to register their vehicle and participate in the trial of this initiative.
This Kiss and Ride initiative offers great opportunities for Sensen in a new strategic growth area for the company, the Education Sector. The very short time frame, the immediate response, and ‘all hands deck’ approach by the BEVIN team, ensured this opportunity for Sensen remained a possibility for roll. Not to mention providing Sensen a great source of future development of this type of campaign.
